JSC KumAPE Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise has been successfully operating on the market of world aviation industry for already more than forty years.
Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise is a major centre for assembling modern coaxial-rotor helicopters developed by the designers’ team of Kamov company. The plant has great intellectual and technological potential as well as experience in serial production of the most sophisticated aviation machinery that excels other Russian and international models by its characteristics. Helicopters manufactured at the enterprise are extensively used in many parts of the world. In Russia the main customers of KumAPE JSC are the Emergencies Ministry, the Federal Security Service of Russia and Ministry of the Interior of Russian Federation.
At the moment Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise has started producing the upgraded version of Ka-226 helicopter – Ka-226T with Arrius 2G engines produced by the French company Turbomeca.
Along with the production of helicopters designed by Kamov company, KumAPE JSC performs overhaul, re-equipment of helicopters Ka-32T, Ka-32C into Ka-32A version (which has Russian certificate of airworthiness), warranty and post-warranty maintenance of aircrafts, supply of spare parts as well as training and retraining of maintenance and flight personnel.
Technical facilities for helicopter maintenance are growing together with the number of helicopters produced. Constant collaboration with the operators provides great possibilities and ground for carrying out various modifications of helicopters in order to improve their application properties.
