Today PROGRESS is one of the most advanced entities of the Russian Far East, the production of which is well-known in Russia and abroad and has no world counterparts on a number of characteristics. The plant has developed the manufacture of the army helicopters Ka-52 Alligator for the Russian air forces instead of Ka-50 Black Shark. It carries on producing Moskit-E antiship missile system. PROGRESS in collaboration with Kamov company are finalizing Ka-62 helicopter pre-production works.

The aviation company is constantly increasing its performance potential, developing the manufacture of new airplanes and helicopters, working in close contact with world famous design bureaus Kamov JSC, Moscow Mil Helicopter Plant JSC, State Engineering Design Bureau "Raduga" (GosMKB "Raduga") named after A.Bereznyak JSC and Yakovlev Development Design Office JSC. It also possesses a fifty-year experience of collaboration with foreign customers. Along with the serial military production the plant manufactures light multipurpose helicopters Mi-34C and sport airplanes Yak-54. The plant employs unique aviation and missile technologies which allow it to produce serially 3M-80E antiship missiles of the Moskit-E complex.

The entity develops electronic models of its production with the help of modern CAD/CAM. The usage of high-precision measurement devices in production, including measurement machines, makes it possible to guarantee quality and reliability of manufactured units and items.
The entity is supplied with unique technologies and equipment for making precision castings of titanium alloys with the use of vacuum arc furnaces. The welding production of the plant makes it possible to perform manual, semi-automatic as well as automatic arc and resistance welding of soft stainless steels, titanium and aluminum alloys. The entity possesses the only equipment in Primorsky Region for controlled-atmosphere chamber welding of titanium items. The heat-treatment machinery of the plant is able to perform the heat treatment of various types of steels and alloys used in the aviation industry. Vacuum heat-treatment machinery makes it possible to obtain the items of special steels with high mechanical properties. High professional equipment available at the entity includes processing centers united into flexible industrial complex.
